Charlie started his career in the oil and gas industry with a small E&P operator in Midland, Texas prior to working in the Barnett Shale as a landman for a subsidiary of Chesapeake Energy. He transitioned into the midstream sector in 2012 to work with Wildcat Midstream in Dallas, Texas. While at Wildcat, he worked as a project manager developing a gas gathering and processing system in the North Louisiana Cotton Valley play as well as a crude oil gathering system in the southeastern region of the Wolfcamp in the Permian. In 2016, Charlie relocated to Denver with his family and founded Cureton Midstream, which concentrates its efforts in the Rockies basins. Cureton Midstream (Backed by Tailwater Capital and Ares Management), prides itself on providing premier customer service to producers seeking an honest and transparent midstream partner for their production needs. It currently operates gas gathering and processing facilities in the DJ Basin.
