Lisa Hough is the Manager of Strategic Initiatives for the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation and manages the Colorado Resource Council. The expanded cluster combines natural, renewable and intellectual resources to promote the Metro Denver region as the place to headquarter and grow your business due to the talented workforce and innovative environment, even if your operations are in other states. Lisa also serves as the Co-Chair of the Advanced Industries subcommittee on energy for the Office of Economic Development and International Trade.
Ms. Hough studied natural resources law at University of Denver School of Law that eventually lead to her role as Senior Director of Government and Public Affairs with BP America in the Rocky Mountain region. After BP, she worked for an energy efficiency software startup and helped them expand to utilities in New York. Lisa has her undergraduate degree in history and Canadian Studies from Duke University.
