Peter has been part of the oil and gas industry for 39 years, having graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with a degree in Petroleum Engineering.
He started his career with Mobil Oil as a drilling engineer working offshore and internationally specializing in relief wells. He later moved into production operations, marketing, midstream, and legal matters, including resolution of CBM ownership, groundwater, and royalty matters.
Peter chaired the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission from 2001 to 2007 when La Plata and Garfield Counties were booming gas plays and Weld County was relatively calm.
EcoVapor is an innovative service company with patented technologies to capture and condition flash gas coming off oil storage tanks so that it can be sold instead of flared.
Peter and his son Hans, who also graduated from CSM, co-founded EcoVapor in 2010, and have been putting out flares and cutting emissions for over seven years now.
