Sarah Sandberg serves as the Chief Operating Officer for the Colorado Oil & Gas Association (COGA), and is responsible for COGA’s financial direction, day-to-day operations, events, programs, local regulatory engagement, and community outreach. In this role, Ms. Sandberg has helped establish COGA as a leader in innovative programming and authentic engagement strategies. Additionally, Sandberg serves as Conference Director for The Energy Summit, a prominent energy conference in the West. She is a nationally recognized speaker on hydraulic fracturing and the dynamics of Colorado’s oil and gas sector, and works with a relentless passion for the industry.
Born and raised in Baton Rouge, prior to COGA, she served as the first Marketing Director for Go Auto Insurance and oversaw a 240% increase in policies under her leadership. She also previously worked on communications and outreach within the Louisiana Governor’s Office, including assisting with the Deepwater Horizon oil spill response efforts and several hurricanes. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder and is current completing her coursework within the Executive MBA at Denver University’s Daniels School of Business.
She serves on the Advisory Council for the Global Energy Management graduate program at the University of Colorado, Denver and is a board member for the Domestic Energy Producers Alliance.
